Closing Letter from the Principal

Dear Parent,
Compliments of the Season !!! We thank God for the opportunity bestowed on us to witness the end
of another term, the first of the 2019 / 2020 Academic Session, May God be praised. Amen. Thank
You Dear Parent for all you have been to us! God’s Blessings will continually be yours. Amen.
In the course of this term, our School had series of educative as well as extra-curricular activities
such as World literacy day & Career Day, World teachers’ day, International Girl-Child day
while our SS3 students participated in the just concluded Archdiocesan unified mock examination for
Catholic Schools (25 th November -9 th December, 2019).
WEBSITE AND ON LINE RESULT: The Principal has opened the college website
www.stthomascollegeng.org and an online examination portal for all our students to make use of
scratch cards for collection of online result from this term. If you are unable to check online
result and print out please visit the Registrar’s office.
MARY IMMACULATE CONCEPTION GROTTO: The new Marian grotto was blessed on the feast of
Immaculate Conception , 8 th Dec 2019, We enjoin parents to stop by and reverence Our Mother Mary
Immaculate.
PLEASE NOTE:

  1. Closing: The School closes for the term on Wednesday, 11 th December, 2019.
  2. Resumption: Boarders will resume on Sunday 12 th January, 2020. ( 3pm – 5 pm prompt) :
    Gate closes at 5.15pm while School resumes for the second term on Monday 13 th of January,
    2020 7.30am, The gate closes at 8am. All parents should please take note.
  3. Our College has been selected to host the Lagos State Olympiads Awards Ceremony for
    150 participants JAN 25 th 2020 at 10 am. You are all invited.
  4. SS 3 / JSS 3 WASSCE and NECO Examinations will commence in April, 2020, extra lessons
    will begin immediately. Parents should please ensure their child(ren)/ward(s) study hard for
    the exams in order to complement the efforts of the School.
  5. Bi Annual Inter-house Sports: The Bi-annual School inter-house sports we propose to take
    place on the 7 th March, 2020. We wish to solicit your support and generosity towards the
    success of the event.
    During this festive period, please be security conscious and encourage our children to take enough
    time to rest, relax and stay with your family. May God grant us long life to witness more celebration of
    the birth of His son (amen)
