Principal Welcome Speech – 1st term 2019

Christmas is all about the eternal Son of God humbling Himself to ‘become
flesh and dwell among us’ (John 1:14). He didn’t come here on a holiday from
Heaven, but ‘to serve and to give His life as a ransom for many’ (Mark 10:45).
He came to restore to us the God-given life that had been lost through the
disobedience and rebellion of our forefather, Adam. His mission was
proclaimed a total success through His amazing resurrection from the dead at
the conclusion of His brief 33-year period of ‘dwelling among us’ (John 1:14).
Jesus brought light into a dark world and, as we look forward to Christmas, we
encourage all in our community to, as Matthew says, ‘…let your light shine
before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your
Father who is in heaven.’ Today we shall see again the beauty of Christmas in
the music and the drama to be presented to us,
Thanks to Mr Wale Adeniji and Mr Pelumi Afolabi – our Music instructors for
their tireless efforts in getting the School Choir ready for today. Thanks so
much to all our tutors especially all those who work quietly behind the scene, I
am indebted to you and I appreciate all your effort. Thanks our Dear Children
for accepting to make use of your God giving talents for the success of this
concert. I love you all and I am grateful.

the world, I am sure our little angels will enjoy STACCOL kiddies corner,..!
Once again, lets relax and enjoy, Its Christmas tide.! Merry Christmas and God
bless You all.
As you go home for the Christmas break, relax and enjoy yourselves and have a
spirit filled holiday, Remember it’s a season of love, show love to all who come
your way and Jesus will bless you all.
